God gave us Ms. Cheri so we could each see what the fruits of the spirit really look like.

She was a mother to us all.

Every day was her talent show.

It was the impact that took her from us that made us realize the impact she had upon us.

Now she's on her way to her own awards ceremony.

Everyone liked Ms. Cheri the moment they met her. And they loved her every day after... We love her still. She will forever be in our hearts.

Ms. Cheri was a cherry heart because she was so sweet and nice to everyone. The bells are ringing in heaven for Ms. Cheri. She gave me a candy one time even though I had lost my token. She trusted me and I loved her for that. She will always be in my heart. I love you Ms. Cheri.

♥You're in heaven
♥You'll be there for eternity!
♥You've walked upon streets of gold.
♥You live in a mansion

And....

♥You live with your Father in the most wonderful place in the world!

Luv you!♥♥♥

Ms. Cheri we will miss you so much. Our kids faces lit up everytime they saw you at school or at church. You were a true inspiration to everyone with your kind Spirit and your loving and giving heart. My Gabi said that you are in your purple mansion with lots of fun jewelry and hats. We know that you are rejoicing in Heaven with our Father.

Ms. Cheri...you truly will be missed and remembered. You brought so much joy into the lives of everyone you met and served. Your mission field was McAllen and the families of Covenant as well as the FCA group your husband served faithfully. Thank you for your kind and generous heart. You taught us all that having faith and serving could be joyful and fun. On behalf of the JOSTENS yearbook family and my own, we will miss you...and extend our prayers to Barney and the children as well as your extended Covenant Christian family. You will be greatly missed, but always remembered.

Ms. Cheri:
You were an angel on loan from Heaven. But heaven had need of you so you had to return. We are sorry that GOD chose to call you home so soon, but look forward to seeing you when we get called "home." We love you, we miss you and we will always remember you. CCA will NOT be the same without you.

Ms. Cheri,
You were the reason my husband and I put our children at CCA.
I know the kids will miss you deeply...we will all miss you deeply.
You are home with your Father.
God bless Barney and your children and our CCA family.

Dear Ms. Cheri's Family,

I am so sorry that your mother and wife are gone. Ms. Cheri always made me feel so happy - I LOVED giving her hugs every morning after Pavilion. I wish I could have been there to hold her hand when she died, but I know Jesus was holding her hand instead. I'm sorry her wonderful life had to end so soon. I will miss her so much.

Love,
Madison Southwell

Ms. Cheri was an inspiration to all of us. She brought joy to the teachers each morning during devotions. She never was too tired to encourage someone else. We share the love of PURPLE and she would often tell my class that she and I were "sisters" because of that. We will miss you. CCA will go on to make you proud.

Ms. Cheri, we feel so honored to have known you and have been touched by your life. Brian, Bradley and I will always remember you and the way you always had time to stop and say hi, wether you were in school or church. We will miss your smile and your life as an open book where we all learned and found encouragement. Love you for eternity. The Ruders

This morning I awoke from a dream, and in that dream was Ms. Cheri. I attended CCA 2nd-6th grade and I remember my days there and one of the most memorable people was Ms. Cheri. I would get in trouble for having a bad attitude and have to talk to her. She would cheer me up and tell me that a frown should always be a smile that we should always be smiling because the Lord gave us so much to smile about. In my dream I randomly saw Ms. Cheri at one of my cheer practices telling me to smile even when i fell. This lead me to look at the blogs and website, which prompted me to think back at all my CCA memories, especially that of Ms. Cheri dressed as a strong woman which made me laugh. I checked the CCA website and the first thing I noticed was a cheer program. Although it may not be such a WOW moment, I think there was a reason all of this happened. I had a bad day and Ms. Cheri from heaven cheered me up yet again. Its funny how i started there and she was one of the first people I met, now I have graduated from high school and she is still in my memories, and now dreams. It's wonderful how she is with God watching over us, and helping us relive the beautiful memories she left behind. :).
